TCB is pleased to announce some upcoming live shows.

On Saturday June 12th we return to where it all began: Lamplighters in Palatine, where we'll perform some new material alongside your favorite deep-cut tracks. We're in the home stretch on the new CD project: help
us hone the final few tunes.

On Saturday August 28th, TCB will kick off the live music for the day on the Palatine Streetfest stage at noon. Support local original rock and roll music -- come check us out!

TCB is proud to be returning for our third Rock 4 A Cure
on Saturday, May 1 at Durty Nellie's in Palatine. The event is from 6 to 9pm
so it's a great opportunity to catch The Cowbirds at an earlier hour, and benefit a great cause.

Your $20 donation all goes directly to the American Cancer Society, and gets you in for two bands: The Cowbirds and Crooked Moon. Special prizes and other surprises also in store.

We'll be playing new material alongside your Cowbird favorites, on a big stage in a great room for live music.

In other news: TCB is hard at work recording the followup to Waylaid. We have some great shows planned for the summertime... stay tuned!

Thanks to everyone who came out to the Battle of the Bands. We were thrilled and shocked to take down first place.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

To kick things off, please highlight Saturday November 7th. The Cowbirds will be participating in the second annual District 15 Battle Of
The Bands fundraiser at Durty Nellie's in Palatine. The show starts at 6pm and runs until 9 or so... an early evening and the perfect opportunity for a bite-sized sample of TCB. We will be playing four songs and doing our best to take first place. Last year we were the first band of the night and had finished before many of our people even arrived, so we were delighted to take second place, but this time we've got our eyes on the prize and we need your help: audience reaction is certainly a factor.

Studio report: TCB have started work on our follow-up to Waylaid, and
to date we've got six new originals in various states of completion, with more in the writing pipeline. If we had to guess we'd say look for a new
full-length all-original CD by Spring 2010.
